Job Details

The Account Manager will be responsible for executing the strategic and operational plan as directed by Commercial leadership. This includes representing our products to new and existing customers and achieving sales expectations/quota for an assigned territory.

  1. Drive daily sales objectives focusing on territory growth, including new account targeting, cultivation, and launch planning.
  2. Develop and execute quarterly business plans based on a quota system, implementing sales strategies relevant to existing and potential factors.
  3. Lead training and education planning during account launches.
  4. Present and implement Performance Guarantees in key accounts and conduct Quarterly Business Reviews.
  5. Regularly transfer account knowledge and other requested information to the leadership team.
  6. Ensure compliance with company policies, the Quality System, and regulatory requirements.
  7. Collaborate with clinical specialists and align the team around the business plan.
  8. Make clinical and economic presentations to customers, committee members, and staff.
  9. Build and maintain strong customer relationships, including Key Opinion Leader (KOL) cultivation.
  10. Uphold high standards of ethical and professional conduct, representing the company with integrity.
  11. Develop relationships with hospital administrative staff and execute corporate contracts where appropriate.
  12. Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge, train new hires, share best practices, and contribute to marketing and competitive intelligence efforts.
  13. Manage territory finances, controlling expenses, product returns, and inventory.
Qualifications

Education: Minimum 5+ years of relevant Medical Device Sales experience in Interventional Cardiology and/or Structural Heart.

Skills: Deep knowledge of the medical device market, strong work ethic, business acumen, ability to target and prioritize key accounts, establish credibility, and manage schedules effectively. Prior experience calling on Interventional Cardiologists, Electrophysiologists, Vascular Surgeons, Interventional Radiologists, and administrators in the territory is preferred. Must be a strategic thinker, flexible, innovative, resourceful, and capable of leading and collaborating.

Physical Demands

Must meet legal standards for job functions, with accommodations available for disabilities. Requirements include standing, walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, lifting up to 10 pounds, fine manipulation, keyboarding, and exposure to mechanical parts, vibration, noise, chemicals, and blood.

Travel Expectations

Up to 50% within the defined territory, including NYC up to Morristown, NJ.
