ACCOUNT MANAGER - INSIDE SALES

SUMMARY


The Account Manager - Inside Sales is responsible for providing a high volume of customers with proposals related to recommendations and corrections of items that have failed during Test and Inspection or other services. They also handle proposals for customer requests unrelated to installation projects and manage all proposals through their sales pipeline from initial contact to closing. Developing and nurturing relationships with key customers in their assigned territory is also essential.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Embodies the company mission to provide protection for people, property, and the environment in all job aspects.
  • Quotes and manages inspection deficiencies.
  • Achieves sales and profitability goals.
  • Logs and follows up on sales activities in the CRM system.
  • Supports operations in coordinating and invoicing booked jobs as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Some college education is a plus.
  • At least 1 year of experience selling products or services in the fire protection industry.
  • Operations experience and strong customer support skills in fire protection are major pluses.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Willingness to learn and develop skill sets.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Work Environment/Physical Demands

  • Remote work in a home office setting.
  • Occasional meetings and site visits required; overnight travel approximately 10-15%.
