CANDIDATES MUST LIVE IN THE MD, DC, VA AREA TO TRAVEL TO OFFICES AND MEETINGS.

Purpose: CURRENT HEALTH & LIFE LICENSE IS REQUIRED.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Account Manager to support CareFirst's National Accounts. Responsibilities include providing consultative expertise on benefits, products, and capabilities, promoting products/services, building relationships, and managing implementations.

Essential Functions
  1. Client Engagement: Grow group enrollment, lead educational meetings at various locations.
  2. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships, develop renewal strategies.
  3. Issue Resolution: Oversee escalated issues, assess risks, collaborate on resolutions.
  4. Program Development: Facilitate benefit analysis, develop engagement programs.
  5. Compliance: Ensure benefit programs adhere to legal and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in sales, support, or account management.
  • Licenses: Current health and life licenses for MD, DC, VA.
Skills & Abilities
  • Excellent communication and knowledge of employee benefits.
  • Problem-solving, organizational skills, attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, team player, proficient in MS Word and Excel.

Additional Details

Travel required, up to 70% during Q4. Salary range: $52,000 - $84,500. Benefits include comprehensive packages, incentives, and 401k. Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
