Job summary

The Insurancenter in Joplin, MO seeks a qualified candidate for our commercial lines service team. You will support Account Service Managers to retain clients and grow accounts through diligent servicing and responsive communication.

You will respond to client, carrier, and internal requests with accuracy, keep organized files in the agency management system, and help ensure seamless coverage for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting team members with policy inquiries, billing questions, coverage changes, claims reporting, and other account service needs.
• Prepare, process, and review insurance applications, quotes, policies, endorsements, certificates, Auto ID cards, evidence of property, and related documentation to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain accurate client records and manage activities, documentation, and follow-up tasks within the agency management system.
• Coordinate with insurance carriers regarding applications, renewals, premium transactions, policy changes, claims, and other servicing requirements.
• Assist with premium financing and accounting-related functions, including preparing finance agreements and entering policy transaction details.
• Monitor policy expirations and renewal activity to support client retention and ensure continuous coverage.
• Build and maintain strong relationships through regular communication and responsive problem resolution.
• Contribute to agency retention goals by delivering proactive service and supporting customer satisfaction initiatives.
• Perform all duties in accordance with agency procedures and compliance standards, maintaining a strong commitment to accuracy and minimizing errors and omissions.
