Job summary

Rent-A-Center is hiring for an Account Manager in New York. The role focuses on managing rental accounts, delivering exceptional service, and driving account performance. You will conduct deliveries and pickups, schedule routes, and help grow the store’s rental portfolio.

Eligible candidates can start at a minimum hourly rate and have opportunities for advancement within the RAC network. A strong emphasis is placed on customer relationships, safety, and adherence to company values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Demonstrated strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee an assigned portfolio of accounts and build strong customer relationships.
• Conduct early-stage collections (1–6 days past due) and meet daily/weekly collection standards.
• Maintain account health and secure payment commitments using account management tools.
• Complete routes for deliveries, pickups, and account follow-ups.
• Deliver white-glove customer service in-store, over the phone, and in customers' homes.
• Contribute to sales growth and generate new rental agreements.
• Safely transport, install, and handle merchandise.
• Maintain showroom standards and company vehicles.
• Adhere to all company safety and operational guidelines.
