Topcon Positioning Business Unit is looking for a motivated and committed ACCOUNT MANAGER GEOMATICS – NORTHERN EUROPE

Work Locations: Sweden (remote), Finland (remote) or Denmark (remote)

Job purpose

To support our strategic business direction and the projected growth of our Geomatics division, we require a Regional Manager Geomatics in Scandinavia/Northern Europe to effectively implement the company strategy in the region.

Core duties
  • Develop and execute sales strategies and plans to drive revenue growth through distribution partners in the assigned region in conjunction with the appropriate teams and dealers.
  • Manage relationships with distribution partners, including regular communication, training, and support to ensure their success in promoting and selling our products.
  • Identify and pursue new distribution opportunities and partnerships to expand our market reach and increase sales.
  • Analyse sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges and develop solutions to drive sales growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure effective product distribution and customer support.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and customer feedback to develop strategies to stay ahead of the competition and optimize distribution efforts.
  • Provide regular reporting to the Geo SU Management team on sales performance, market trends, and key metrics related to distribution sales.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Manage sales budgets and resources efficiently to optimize distribution sales performance.
Job requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a geo-related discipline.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in distribution sales, preferably in a leadership role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in distribution sales, proven leadership skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets through distribution channels.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with distribution partners and customers.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
  • Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and proficiency in using Microsoft Teams for video meetings, collaboration, and remote communication.
  • Availability to travel in the region at least 50% of the job and to attend TOPCON’s meetings in European Countries.
