Ingersoll Rand's Compression Systems and Services Customer Center is hiring a General Line Account Manager to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the Customer Center equipment sales and service activity for a specific territory. Traveling in a defined geographic area, this includes quoting, strategizing, prospecting, and developing relationships to achieve revenue targets, maximize profits, increase market share and maintain customer loyalty while achieving organizational goals. The position is a unique blend of supporting a major distributor and selling direct to customers.
This position will be remote, and may travel within the territory about 50% of the time. A company vehicle and fuel card will be provided. Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations included, but not limited to: DUI in the previous 5 years, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving, Multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.
