Account Manager, Forage

The Role in Brief:

As an Account Manager, you'll be at the forefront of Forage’s growth, responsible for owning and nurturing relationships with our economic buyers and budget holders within our strategic enterprise accounts. Drawing upon your proven expertise in managing enterprise accounts, you'll excel at renewal negotiations, uncovering and closing expansion opportunities, and building enduring relationships with C-suite and VP level talent leaders.

This hire will be expected to become familiar with the Forage product offerings and be responsible for a contract portfolio over ~$2.5M per fiscal year focused on Forage technology renewals and upsell opportunities, with the primary book of business being UK-based partners. Effectively communicating Forage’s technology services and deliverables will be critical to this role, as will working with our Customer Success team in crafting strategy on how to best serve employer partners.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Build productive customer relationships with VP and C-Suite level executives at our enterprise partners and collaborate with Customer Success and cross-functional teams.
  • Secure renewal of subscription contracts, hitting annual and semi-annual targets.
  • Lead on all key renewal and expansion decision conversations.
  • Leverage partner renewal conversations to identify portfolio growth opportunities.
  • Develop deep knowledge of each assigned enterprise partners’ contracting process and budget cycle.
  • Successfully navigate contractual review with enterprise partners.
  • Create and send contracts via online contracting software.
  • Review partner health metrics and escalate to Customer Success as necessary.
  • Maintain updated confidence levels for renewal and expansion projections.
  • Effectively manage renewal pipeline, achieving pacing targets.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College/University.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written, with senior executives.
  • Willingness to travel ~20% for partner and team meetings.
  • Proven team collaboration experience.
  • Must possess a minimum of 3-4+ years' full-time experience including a track record of success in commercial experience.

Compensation:

The anticipated starting salary range for this role is $57,000 - $76,500 per year, with additional eligibility for discretionary bonus or incentive compensation.
