We are seeking an experienced and driven Commercial HVAC New Business Development Manager to lead the charge in securing new recurring revenue streams, with a focus on Preventative Maintenance Agreements (PMAs). This role is critical in expanding our commercial MEP service portfolio and requires a strategic thinker with deep industry knowledge and strong relationship-building skills.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities targeting potential clients in industries that match the ideal target clients.
  2. Develop and execute effective sales strategies to generate new leads and close deals with prospective clients.
  3. Proactively network and build relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and industry influencers.
  4. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, emerging needs, and potential growth areas.
  5. Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets by driving new business development efforts.
  6. Prepare detailed proposals, presentations, and sales contracts in collaboration with the sales and technical teams.
  7. Negotiate terms, pricing, and service agreements that benefit both the client and the company.
  8. Work closely with internal teams (e.g., engineering, operations, service, and project management) to ensure seamless project execution and delivery of services.
  9. Track and report on key sales metrics, including pipeline development, revenue forecasts, and performance against targets.
  10. Support other departments and roles as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in business development or sales within the commercial MEP services or related industries.
  • Proven track record of securing new business and driving revenue growth in a competitive market.
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles, including proposal development, contract negotiation, and closing deals.
  • Strong understanding of commercial MEP systems, including installation, maintenance, and energy efficiency solutions.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans focused on long-term growth and profitability.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.

Working Environment:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to travel to worksites as needed.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
