Job summary

Vandalia Rental is seeking an Account Manager to be a relationship-driven closer who connects with customers, shares our value, and grows our business. This role emphasizes daily drive, compelling communication of our story, and building trust with partners across multiple locations in Ohio.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of outside sales in the rental or related industries, a solid grasp of construction equipment, and strong CRM/presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Go Getter with a will to win and a drive to succeed.
• High School Diploma required; BA/BS preferred.
• 2+ years outside sales experience.
• Experience in the rental industry a plus.
• Strong understanding of construction and industrial equipment.
• Salesforce CRM or other CRM experience.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Technologically savvy; comfortable with computers and mobile devices.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Must be able to travel extensively throughout the territory and work around construction/industrial environments.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Key Performance Objectives for the Account Manager:

1. Maximize account potential and exceed quarter over quarter, year over year revenue growth and profitability goals.

Salary & Benefits:

• $75,000 - $100,000+ First year annual salary. Salary plus commission thereafter – Initial salary commensurate with education and experience, commission commensurate with YOUR success

Requirements

The ideal Account Manager:

• Must be an absolute "Go Getter" with a will to win and a drive to succeed
• High School Diploma is required; Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) preferred
• 2+ years of outside sales experience
• Experience in the rental industry is a plus
• Excellent understanding of construction and industrial type equipment
• Salesforce CRM or other CRM experience
• Great presentation skills and don’t mind getting out in front
• Technologically savvy. You’ll use computers, cell phones, and other cool techy stuff
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Must be able and willing to drive extensively throughout geographical area, must be able to work around construction and Industrial type environments, lift 35+ lbs.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
