Job summary

Graybar is seeking an experienced Account Manager to serve as the main contact for key accounts in the United States. You will drive service, solution selling, and profitable growth while positioning Graybar as the primary supplier of electrical, communications, and security products.

You will identify opportunities to increase sales, present new products and company services, and collaborate with supplier partners to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of account management or sales experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with RFIs and RFPs.

Are you ready?As an Account Manager, you will be the point person on key accounts. We will count on you to service these key accounts and solicit new business to maximize profitability. You will position Graybar as the primary supplier of electrical, communications, and security products and solutions.In this role you will:Implement strategy to increase sales and profits from key accountsIdentify opportunities to improve productivityUnderstand customer business needs and work closely with our supplier partners to help find solutions to meet those needsGive presentations on new products, answer questions on products and Company servicesAttain or exceed sales and profit budgetWhat you bring to the table:4+ years experience preferred4 year degree preferredStrong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skillsFamiliarity with Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Proposals (RFP)Pay Details:The expected salary for this position is starting at $90,000 annually depending on experience. This position is also bonus eligible based on specific and relevant business metrics.This role requires the use of your personal vehicle for business purposes. Graybar offers a Fixed and Variable Rate (FAVR) reimbursement program to support eligible drivers. This program allows you to choose and drive your own vehicle, rather than a company-assigned car, and your reimbursements can help you build equity in your vehicle over time. Please note that certain vehicle requirements, such as age and original MSRP, may impact your eligibility for tax-free reimbursement.
