Account Manager, Corporate Risk

Location: Remote, USA

Our client, a leading national brokerage firm, is seeking an Account Manager, Corporate Risk to join their growing team. This role supports the medical malpractice insurance group, catering to a wide range of healthcare clients. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in medical malpractice brokerage supporting similar professional medical portfolios.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in business or a related discipline.
2. Minimum of 4 years in the P&C insurance industry.
3. 1-2 years of specific medical malpractice exposure.
4. Proven success with complex accounts.
5. In-depth knowledge of medical malpractice insurance, risk transfer strategies, and relevant laws.
6. Broad network of carrier relationships and market knowledge.
7. Active Residential Property & Casualty Insurance License.
8. EPIC system experience preferred.
9. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with a customer-first mentality.

3. Develop and maintain relationships with decision-makers and contacts.
4. Create and implement risk management solutions and insurance programs.
5. Manage property and casualty insurance for medium to high complexity accounts.
6. Provide client services and reports.
7. Ensure program compliance with contractual requirements.
8. Negotiate with carriers for cost-effective client options.
9. Advise clients on marketplace programs and coverages.
10. Prepare proposals and lead discussions with clients and advisors.
11. Review policies, contracts, and manuals to assist clients.
12. Demonstrate knowledge of carrier underwriting practices.
13. Mentor and educate other Risk Analysts.
14. Analyze industry trends and develop risk financing structures.
