Job summary

Legacy Risk Solutions LLC in Gainesville, GA is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager – Real Estate to manage the full lifecycle of property-focused accounts and work closely with Producers to tailor insurance programs.

The ideal candidate will hold a Property & Casualty license, have at least four years of Commercial Lines experience, and be proficient with Applied Epic and MS Office while delivering proactive, client-focused service.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
• Minimum of four years of Commercial Lines insurance or account management experience.
• Experience servicing real estate, property, habitational, multifamily, or related Commercial Lines accounts preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Commercial Property and General Liability coverage and related coverages.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of Commercial Lines Real Estate accounts: new business, renewals, endorsements, policy changes, and ongoing servicing.
• Collaborate with Producers to develop renewal and risk management strategies for real estate clients.
• Act as primary client contact, providing consultative service on coverage, billing, and risk questions.
• Prepare applications and market new/renewal business to carriers.
• Gather and maintain property schedules, values, loss information, and underwriting data.
• Review carrier proposals for accuracy and identify gaps or discrepancies.
• Coordinate policy binding, billing inquiries, and endorsements while ensuring compliance.
• Maintain organized client records and file documentation in agency systems.

Position Summary

Legacy Risk Solutions is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager – Real Estate to join our growing team. This role is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of commercial insurance accounts within our Real Estate practice, partnering with Producers to deliver strategic insurance and risk management solutions to clients across the real estate industry.

The ideal candidate has strong Commercial Lines experience and an understanding of the unique exposures associated with real estate risks, including commercial property owners, property management companies, developers, investors, and multifamily/habitational portfolios.

This individual will serve as a trusted resource for clients, helping navigate complex property and casualty insurance needs while playing a key role in client retention, account growth, and the overall success of our Real Estate practice.

What You’ll Do

• Manage the full lifecycle of Commercial Lines accounts within the Real Estate portfolio, including new business, renewals, endorsements, policy changes, and ongoing account servicing.
• Partner with Producers to develop renewal and risk management strategies tailored to real estate clients and their evolving property portfolios.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing responsive, consultative service and assisting with coverage, policy, billing, and risk management questions.
• Manage insurance needs for a variety of real estate risks, which may include commercial properties, multifamily/habitational properties, property management companies, real estate investors, and developers.
• Prepare applications and market new and renewal business to insurance carrier partners.
• Gather and maintain property schedules, statements of values, loss information, exposure data, and other documentation required for underwriting.
• Review carrier proposals, quotes, policies, and endorsements for accuracy and completeness and identify potential coverage gaps or discrepancies.
• Assist clients and Producers with coverage considerations related to property, general liability, umbrella/excess liability, workers' compensation, commercial auto, and other applicable Commercial Lines coverages.
• Process policy endorsements, renewals, cancellations, premium audits, and policy changes while maintaining compliance with agency and carrier guidelines.
• Coordinate policy binding, billing inquiries, premium audits, certificates of insurance, and non-renewal activities.
• Collect loss information, order loss runs, and maintain complete and accurate client records.
• Maintain organized electronic files and account documentation within Applied Epic and other agency management systems.
• Build strong working relationships with carrier underwriters and business partners, particularly those specializing in real estate and property risks.
• Deliver exceptional client service while ensuring transactions are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Active Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license required.
• Minimum of four years of Commercial Lines insurance or account management experience.
• Experience servicing real estate, property, habitational, multifamily, or related Commercial Lines accounts strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of Commercial Property and General Liability coverage, with experience supporting additional Commercial Lines coverages based on client needs.
• Experience working with property schedules, statements of values, loss runs, and other underwriting information associated with real estate accounts preferred.
• Experience with Applied Epic or a similar agency management system required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
• Strong knowledge of Commercial Lines insurance products, policy servicing, and carrier underwriting practices.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and client service skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts, properties, renewals, and competing priorities.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with Producers, carrier partners, and internal teams.
