Account Manager, Commercial Lines Small Business

Heffernan Insurance Brokers is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join its Small Business division. This is a dynamic full-time remote role focused on developing and maintaining client insurance needs.

Responsibilities Include
  • Managing accounts and some marketing for assigned clients
  • Coordinating renewal marketing processes with clients
  • Preparing account specifications, negotiating pricing, and finalizing policy conditions
  • Checking policies and transmitting them promptly
  • Coordinating invoicing and preparing certificates and evidence of insurance
  • Preparing account proposals for presentation
  • Explaining and clarifying coverage forms to clients
  • Managing account services and coordinating activities
  • Expanding existing accounts and developing new coverage lines
  • Maintaining thorough documentation with proper E&O procedures
Requirements
  • High School diploma required
  • At least 2 years of experience in Account Management or related roles
  • Active P&C insurance license required
  • Self-starter with decision-making skills
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and marketing skills
  • Organized with good time management
  • Professional demeanor
Compensation

Salary ranges from $60,000 to $70,000, depending on region, experience, and skills. Additional incentives and comprehensive benefits are offered.
