Towne Insurance is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to provide expert service to new and existing clients, ensuring timely, accurate handling of endorsements, renewals, and related inquiries. The role emphasizes risk-advisor collaboration and high-quality client communication.

A successful candidate will manage client needs, work with carrier representatives, and leverage systems like Applied Epic to maintain strong policy retention and service levels.

Qualifications

• Active P&C license or ability to obtain upon hire and prior experience in the commercial lines insurance industry.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Computer skills (Word, Outlook, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Works closely with risk advisors and other Towne personnel on all aspects of client service, marketing, and renewal.
• Provides professional, courteous service to clients, carrier representatives, underwriters, business partners, and Towne colleagues, achieving or exceeding client retention targets.
• Answers telephone calls from insured customers and handles endorsement requests, cancellations, remarkets/rewrites, claims, and other service inquiries.
• Uses sales and customer service skills to listen, build rapport, identify needs, provide solutions, and improve policy retention.
• Effectively uses third-party systems for customer handling (e.g., carrier sites, Applied Epic).
• Ensures endorsements, audits, cancellations, claims, finance agreements, certificates, and other requests are handled accurately and timely according to procedures.

Towne Insurance is hiring a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. The Commercial Lines Account Manager is responsible for providing professional service to new and existing clients in a timely and accurate manner.

The good-faith compensation range for this role is expected to be $60,000 to $75,000, based on the role, market, internal equity, and candidate qualifications.

About the Role

Skills and experience you’ll need:

A successful candidate will have an active P&C license or ability to obtain upon hire and prior experience in the commercial lines insurance industry, as well as the following:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and prioritization skills.
• Computer skills (Word, Outlook, Excel).

Bonus points if you have:

• 3+ years of experience in commercial lines account management.
• Experience with agency management systems, preferably Applied Epic.
