HUB International in Annapolis, MD is seeking an Account Manager for the Commercial Lines team on a hybrid schedule. You will review and analyze commercial accounts for coverage and limits, and develop strong client relationships to ensure service needs are met.

You will pursue new business from existing accounts and leads, prepare submissions to Marketing, and create client proposals. Strong communication, attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and agency systems are

Qualifikationen

• Two years of commercial lines insurance experience.
• Thorough knowledge of commercial lines coverages and markets.
• Property and Casualty Insurance license.
• High School diploma or equivalent; AA and/or college degree preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Superior customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and automated agency management systems.
• Mastery of virtual technology, including meeting scheduling, video display and screen sharing.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• High level attention to detail is essential.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Required experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Required travel: negligible.
• Required education: high school or equivalent.

• Prepare all transactions for assigned accounts, i.e. applications, certificates of insurance, invoices, forms.
• Maintain the accuracy of data in the agency management system.
• May handle collections of premiums due.
• Conduct business in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of both the business and earnings implications of the Company.
• Keep informed of changes and trends within the industry for the purpose of anticipating and responding to profit objectives.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by Manager.

Salary range: $28.21 to $35.90 per hour. Salary will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
