What you'll do
  • The Account Manager is a professional sales position, based remotely, responsible for managing and servicing steel and aluminum coil customers. The Account Manager will handle a large strategic account across multiple locations in the US, requiring exceptional communication skills to interface with all levels of Henkel and customer organizations.
  • This role focuses on a value-added market approach, developing sales by researching customer problems, recommending product modifications, introducing new products, and coordinating sales negotiations. Maintaining the current customer base is also essential.
  • What we offer:
    • Manage large strategic accounts to achieve year-on-year growth in sales and profitability, focusing on technical sales support and maximizing business potential.
    • Develop and execute written account strategies and forecasts, regularly assessing market conditions, including new technologies, market shifts, competitive intelligence, and Henkel's strengths and weaknesses.
    • Support the account strategy with timely and accurate tasks such as product qualification and implementation, forecast updates, maintaining the ACE project management system, coordinating account reviews, preparing laboratory work requests, customer line audits, service visit reports, and troubleshooting.
    • Continuously update professional selling and leadership skills to stay current with business software, communication tools, and Henkel product knowledge applicable to customer processes.
