Base pay range

$90,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr

Title: Account Manager

Location: Western Region (must live in one of the 13 Western States)

Salary: $90,000-110,000 base + 1.5% commission on net equipment revenue, up to 100% of your sales plan

Requirements: Able to travel up to 75%; remote from home when not traveling

What You'll Do

The Account Manager will spearhead sales initiatives within the assigned territory, cultivating new and existing customer relationships and identifying opportunities for equipment sales. In partnership with regional agents, this role is responsible for driving growth, applying proven sales strategies, and capturing customer feedback to fuel innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage key and target accounts, conducting routine performance reviews and identifying sales and service opportunities.
  • Travel throughout the region to follow up on leads, develop prospects, and demonstrate equipment capabilities.
  • Expand market presence by prospecting in both new and established markets.
  • Collaborate across departments-Sales, Service, Engineering, and Product Development-to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Meet or exceed visit targets, documenting sales opportunities and action items in call reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Marketing, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Over 5 years of capital equipment sales experience within the food processing sector.
  • Preferably experienced in the meat industry with insight into production processes and customer needs.
  • Skilled in managing complex sales cycles, cultivating long-term relationships, and developing strategic sales plans.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and confidently navigate key decision-making conversations.
