Account Manager - Bamberger Amco Polymers

Purpose

This role is responsible for managing and growing territory sales, current accounts, and new accounts. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of customer relationships, including resin needs, end uses, credit, logistics, and inventory management.

Territory

The Account Manager will service customers in the Northeast US or as defined by the Regional Commercial Director.

Areas of Responsibility / Tasks

Performance should reflect expertise and achievement of results listed below.

  2. Achieve profitable revenue growth and develop new business opportunities.
  3. Meet gross margin targets as a percentage of sales.
  4. Utilize customer-centric selling skills professionally and effectively.
  5. Prospect for new accounts and develop a target funnel.
  6. Establish, track, and close new business aligned with long-term growth.
  7. Develop and manage sales, expense, and budget plans.
  8. Collaborate with channel partners to meet customer purchasing needs.
  9. Maintain CRM data and sales statistics.
  10. Coordinate with Technical and Customer Service teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  11. Interact effectively at all customer levels and within functional groups.
  12. All other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications / Education / Experience / Certifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required; equivalent experience considered.
  • Minimum of 3 years in B2B, face-to-face industrial or commodity sales.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • English proficiency required; bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
Work Environment / Conditions

This is a remote, work-from-home position. Candidates must adapt to shared spaces and potentially noisy environments.

Physical Requirements / Demands
