Account Manager - Bamberger Amco Polymers

Purpose
This role is responsible for managing and growing territory sales, current sales accounts, identifying new accounts, and demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of customer relationships, including resin needs, end uses, credit, logistics, and inventory.

Territory
The Account Manager will service customers in the Northeast region of the US or as defined by the Regional Commercial Director.

Areas of Responsibility / Tasks
Performance should reflect appropriate expertise and achievement of the following:

  • Achieve profitable revenue growth and develop new business.
  • Meet gross margin targets as a percentage of sales.
  • Utilize customer-centric selling skills professionally and effectively.
  • Prospect and develop a robust target funnel for new accounts.
  • Establish, track, and close new business opportunities aligned with long-term growth.
  • Develop and execute sales and expense plans and budgets.
  • Collaborate with channel partners to meet customer requirements.
  • Maintain CRM data and sales statistics.
  • Work with Technical and Customer Service teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Interact effectively at all customer levels and with all functional groups.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSA)
Candidates should have experience in translating customer needs into solutions, technical aptitude, professional communication skills, broad knowledge of solutions and materials, self-motivation, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Work Environment / Conditions

Salary & Benefits
$110,000–$140,000/year + Commission; benefits include health insurance, PTO, 401(k), wellness perks, and tuition reimbursement.
