Job summary

Combined Selection Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Sales Account Manager to grow and manage a portfolio of manufacturing and ingredients customers. You will serve as the primary liaison across operations, R&D, and finance to deliver solutions and drive profitability.

Responsibilities include maintaining strong client relationships, presenting proposals, negotiating contracts, and supporting strategic planning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, or related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales or account management.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of key customer accounts, providing ongoing support and proactive service.
  • Develop strong, long-term relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and challenges.
  • Serve as the main liaison between customers and internal departments (production, quality, logistics, and finance).
  • Conduct regular check-ins and business reviews with customers to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Handle pricing updates, order status, and product inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target markets.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, product proposals, and pricing quotes.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve company sales and margin goals.
  • Collaborate with R&D to support new product development and custom formulations based on customer needs.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of prospective accounts and follow up to close deals.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets, revenue goals, and account objectives.
  • Analyze customer sales data, trends, and market conditions to support strategic decision-making.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and activity reports to management.
  • Participate in trade shows, customer visits, and industry events to promote company products and brand visibility.
  • Work with Operations and Supply Chain to ensure accurate order fulfillment and delivery schedules.
  • Partner with Finance and Accounting to monitor credit limits, collections, and payment terms.
  • Support Marketing in developing customer-specific materials, promotions, and campaigns.

Account Manager - Sales Classification: Exempt Bonus Eligible: No / Commission Based Summary: The Sales Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing existing customer accounts while developing new business opportunities within the manufacturing and ingredients sector. Job Requirements:
