Job Title: Account Manager Associate - Commercial Lines

Location: Fully remote, hybrid preferred if near Atlanta/Gainesville, GA | Book Focus: Franchise Dealerships

About the Role: Provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, ensuring quality standards are met and managing smaller or less complex accounts independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain technical competence and industry expertise.
  • Assist in directing daily activities of support staff.
  • Handle customer requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
  • Manage policy expirations and renewals.
  • Conduct client research, gather underwriting info, analyze loss runs, prepare submissions, evaluate and negotiate coverages and pricing, and follow up for policy issuance.
  • Process tasks accurately and timely.
  • Review contracts for proper coverages.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and collect outstanding balances.
  • Maintain agency management and carrier/vendor systems.
  • Ensure timely activity completion and communicate workload status.
  • Deliver excellent service, anticipate needs, and respond promptly.
  • Stay updated on company policies and seek performance improvements.
  • Demonstrate integrity and leadership in line with IOA values.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of customer service experience in insurance.
  • Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
  • Active licensing required; professional designation preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
