Overview of the Role

  • The Account Manager positionis responsible forcreating and executing Albertsons’ Mid-Atlantic specific sales plan that meets or exceeds established sales quotas and supports company revenue and profit targets. You will play a critical role in building our team and building sales for these key customers. If you love selling and building relationships, this could be the role for you!
  • Success in this role looks like strong organizational skills and excellent communication. You will work with clients to build strong promotional plans,maintainshelf placement, and build connectivity with the customer.
  • Hybrid – Philadelphia , PA or within driving distance of the ACI Mid Atlantic office s for in-person meetings
  • Salary range $80,000 - $85,000 based on experience, qualifications and skills.
  • Travel Requirements –Less than10%to attend all major Industry showsclient national sales meetings, & or any other events that would bewarranted; all other travel is within assigned market (automobile)

What You’ll Do at C.A. Fortune

  • Create and executeAlbertsonsMid-Atlanticsales plan that meets or exceeds established sales quotas and supports company revenue and profit targets
  • Retailer responsibilities include: Albertsons Mid Atlantic division (now includes Kings and Balduccis )
  • Meetregularlywith existing customers to understand their evolving business needs and position product solutions to address those needs,provideall maintenance,new itemsubmissions, promotional support, etc.
  • Build long-term, productive, and mutually beneficial relationships with existing and new customers & clients
  • Maintain consistent communication andtimelyfollow-upwith customers and clients and be available and responsive to their real-time needs.
  • Work effectively/professionally with company’s internal departments (Client Development Team, Marketing, Insights, Client Services, Business Support Specialists & Accounts Receivable), assuring elite management of our clients and customers businesses
  • Attend all required national trade shows, market specific sales meetings, client specific sales meetings, or any other necessary functions (establishedby your supervisor)
  • Guide Clients through the total distribution process; including pricing and promotional strategy,new itemintroductions,logisticsand supply chain, deduction management.
  • Coordinate and prepare Clients for top-to-top meetings and category business reviews with Distributor partners.
  • Direct Clients and Company personnel through the planning, preparation, and execution of Distributors’ trade shows.

What You Should Bring to the Table

  • Experience working with Albertsons Mid Atlantic division (now includes Kings and Balduccis )
  • Willingness to learn
  • Strong knowledge of the consumer products industry (specifically food products)
  • Strong proficient with all necessary computer-based programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher required
