Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or related field (or equivalent U.S. education/experience).
  • 3–5 years of automotive sales, commercial program support, or key account management.
  • Experience with U.S. and European OEMs and/or Tier 1 suppliers preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead quoting strategy and commercial negotiations for new business awards and major changes to existing business.
  • Partner with plant sales teams on day-to-day customer support while maintaining pricing discipline, commercial terms, and payment conditions.
  • Build and maintain the sales pipeline in the Sales Database and provide timely updates to Group Office and leadership per established cadence and guidelines.
  • Coordinate cross-functional customer activity (Quality, Program Management, Engineering, Operations) to deliver a consistent OEM-facing message and execution aligned to Magna strategy.
  • Develop and execute account plans and growth strategies for assigned customers, including U.S. and European OEMs and their buying organizations.
  • Provide commercial input to leadership for key business decisions, customer strategy, and portfolio planning.
  • Travel up to 25%.

Combining a deep systems knowledge to develop unique vehicle access experiences, intelligent visions systems and advanced automotive lighting technologies, MML's expertise light the path to innovation, safety and styling.**Job Responsibilities:**The Account Manager owns strategic customer relationships and profitable growth for the Mechatronics and Mirrors product groups. This role serves as the commercial lead for key accounts across the United States and coordinates closely with global counterparts to support customers headquartered in North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific.
