Job summary

International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF) in New York is seeking a sales-focused account leader to turn customer insights into fragrance solutions for the Body Care category, building strategic partnerships and driving growth.

You will serve as the primary commercial contact for assigned customers, collaborating with Creative, Scent Design, Consumer Insights, Marketing, Technical, Regulatory, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to translate briefs and market trends into actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and strengthen customer relationships within the Body Care category by understanding objectives and growth opportunities.
• Serve as the primary commercial contact for assigned customers with responsive communication and project management.
• Collaborate with Creative, Scent Design, Consumer Insights, Marketing, Technical, Regulatory, Operations, and Supply Chain to deliver fragrance solutions.
• Translate customer briefs, trends, and market insights into actionable fragrance recommendations.
• Support account planning, project strategies, and business priorities aligned with objectives.
• Manage pipelines, timelines, milestones, risks, and deliverables for flawless execution.
• Prepare customer presentations and business reviews to showcase value proposition and capabilities.
• Support pricing, forecasting, margins, and commercial discussions with leadership.
• Monitor performance, identify growth opportunities, and drive customer satisfaction.

Where You'll Make a Difference

• Develop and strengthen customer relationships by understanding business objectives, brand strategies, and growth opportunities within the Body Care category.

• Manage project pipelines, timelines, key milestones, risks, and deliverables to ensure flawless execution.
• Prepare customer presentations, business reviews, and updates that showcase IFF's value proposition and capabilities.
• Support pricing, forecasting, margin management, and commercial discussions in partnership with commercial leadership.
• Monitor business performance, identify growth opportunities, and collaborate across teams to drive customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

What Makes You the Right Fit

• Approximately 5 years of experience in sales, account management, sales support, marketing, product development, fragrance, cosmetics, personal care, FMCG, chemical, ingredients, or related industries.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong customer relationship management and account development skills.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-focused projects and business objectives.
• Strong project management and organizational capabilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive activity to identify business opportunities.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with rigor and agility.
• Commercial mindset with experience supporting pricing, forecasting, and business growth initiatives.

• Degree concentration in Business, Marketing, Chemistry, Biology, Arts, Fashion, or a related field.
• Master's degree or advanced education.
• Experience within fragrance, beauty, personal care, Body Care, or consumer products industries.

Correct Salary Range:

100,436.00 - 125,000 MAX
