The ideal candidate will be able to appropriately identify the needs of both new and current customers in order to aid customers in their success using our product. This will be done by developing an appropriate level of communication with clients and internal team members to better understand and mitigate any issues the customers may face.

About the Role

The role involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact for all account-related inquiries and issues.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact for all account-related inquiries and issues.
• Verifies, compiles and inputs application information for mortgage loans.
• Reviews residential loan application file to verify that application data is complete and meets establishment standards, including type and amount of mortgage, borrower assets, liabilities, and length of employment.
• Calls and/or writes credit bureaus, employer, bank institutions to verify accuracy of information.
• Submits mortgage loan application file for underwriting approval.
• Sends out updated approval to brokers.
• Ensure that brokers get updates in a timely manner.
• Review documentations and make sure that all items needed are requested.
• Making sure that day-to-day activities are met to ensure all aspects of the origination process – from application to closing – are handled in a timely and efficient manner.
• Address client concerns and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Articulate and well accustomed to a client facing role.

Required Skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the mortgage industry.
• Familiarity with underwriting processes.
