Exciting Opportunity: Become Our Next Account Manager!

We are seeking a physically active and dynamic Account Manager to engage directly with catalytic converter suppliers, ensuring sourcing at competitive prices while providing exceptional customer service. This role involves frequent travel and on-site visits.

Work Setup:

Home-based office with regular travel and on-site visits.

Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, often in person.
  • Seek out potential suppliers and conduct site visits for assessment.
  • Prepare and submit bids, gather data, and ensure competitiveness.
  • Understand supplier challenges and foster collaboration.
  • Stay informed on market trends and pricing through field engagement.
  • Negotiate terms directly with suppliers during visits.
  • Inspect catalytic converters on-site for authenticity and quality.
  • Lift and physically inspect converters to assess condition.
  • Monitor sales data and market trends, providing reports and forecasts.
  • Collaborate with operations and logistics teams.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
  • Educate suppliers and customers on recycling benefits through in-person discussions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Experience in account management, business development, or sales, ideally in metal recycling or automotive industry.
  • Knowledge of catalytic converters and market dynamics is a plus.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Analytical skills for market and sales data analysis.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM, Microsoft Office, and data analysis tools.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations is advantageous.
