The moment you apply, you're being evaluated. We hire on habits and behaviors, because habits and behaviors come before performance. Applicants are expected to show us theirs instead of telling us about them:
DM the hiring manager. If you can't find and reach the right person at a company that's hiring you, you won't find the new curriculum director who just replaced your champion three months before renewal.
Multithread our leadership. Renewals and expansions here are won by AMs who know five people in a district, not one. Run that play on us, thoughtfully, not spam.
Show speed and follow-through. How fast you follow up with us, and whether you do what you said you'd do when you said you'd do it, is how you'll run a district launch.
Everything you do in this process is a signal.

The personal and professional growth that comes from applying yourself to a company growing this fast
You're the AE for our current customers and partners. You'll own your book end to end, from the day a contract is signed through launch, adoption, renewal, and expansion, and you'll carry a real revenue number across renewals, expansion, and new business inside those accounts.
Run launches like a project manager. Kickoff, rostering and integrations, teacher training, and go-live, each with owners and dates. You'll coordinate our Ops, Integrations, and Product teams to hit the timeline you promised the district.
Build mutual success plans. Agree with district leaders on what success looks like in usage and outcomes, then hold both sides accountable to it.
Treat every renewal like a new deal. Know who signs, what they need to see, when the budget is set, and what the procurement path looks like, months before the contract is up.
Find and close expansion. More schools, more grade levels, more courses, more programs. You'll prospect inside your accounts, multithread superintendents, curriculum directors, principals, CTOs, and CFOs, and negotiate contracts that protect margin and the partnership.
Show up in person. On-site visits, QBRs that end in a decision, board meetings, PD sessions, and conferences. District leaders should know your face.
Bring the field back to the team. What districts say, what's blocking usage, and what they'd buy next goes to Product and Leadership, clearly and quickly.
You'll be measured on net revenue retention, gross retention, expansion bookings, and student usage across your book.
Who you are:
You're a seller first. You've carried a number and beaten it in an AM, AE, or expansion role in complex, multi-stakeholder B2B (SaaS, pharma, medical, or the same long-cycle, field-heavy, relationship-driven motion). You know your retention, expansion, and attainment numbers without checking.
You run projects without being asked. You've owned implementations or rollouts with lots of moving parts and stakeholders who don't report to you. Your plans have owners and dates, and you notice a slipping date before anyone else does.
You measure yourself by outcomes, not activity. What matters is whether students are using the product and whether districts renew and grow. A district that loves you but doesn't expand is a problem you own.
You own the whole account. You don't hand the hard parts to support, ops, or the AE. If something's broken, you fix it or grab someone who can.
You tell the truth early. You'll tell a district that their rollout plan won't drive usage, that their teachers need more training, or that the data says what it says. You'd rather lose a renewal honestly than win one on a story that won't hold.
You love being in the field. You'd rather drive three hours to sit with a principal than send a fourth follow-up email.
You're AI-native. Claude, Gong, Salesforce, and Notion are already in your workflow for prepping visits, drafting outreach, keeping your pipeline clean, and pattern-matching across your book.
You make your teammates better. We're a team with a head coach, coaches, and players, not a family. You take real-time feedback without flinching and share what's working instead of hoarding it.
You're a grinder. 60+ hours a week is the commitment, and K-12 has real crunch windows (back-to-school launches, summer programs, spring renewals). You bring it because the work is the reward, and nobody has to remind you to take initiative.
Who you are not:
A customer success manager who has never carried a number and wants to own the relationship while someone else owns the revenue
A ticket-taker who waits for the district to call with a problem
An activity reporter whose QBRs get delivered and check-ins get logged, but whose forecast never moves
A Zoom-only AM who hasn't been inside a district office in a year
A knowledge hoarder or politics player. If your instinct is to protect your lane instead of the team's outcome, you won't last here.
Someone who pushes personal agendas at work. We stay apolitical, always: we support all kids, we don't take sides, and we show up every day to help students grow no matter where they come from or what they believe.
Someone who is uncomfortable living in public. We're a company that posts a lot and welcomes critics, and you have to be okay with that.
Someone who hears "5 days in Austin, 60% travel, 60+ hour weeks during peak cycles" and starts negotiating the premise
We're not looking for people who can tolerate the bar. We're looking for people who set it higher than we do.
Bonus points:
Former K-12 educator who moved into B2B sales or account management. You can read a STAAR report or a TEKS gap and turn it into an expansion conversation.
Formal project or implementation management experience (PMP, implementation lead, or similar)
AI already in your workflow. If you've built your own prompts, agents, or automations for account planning or renewal forecasting, tell us about it.
Experience in an early-stage startup that went through hyper-growth
History of multiple promotions within the same company
