Viking Electric in Addison, IL is seeking an Industrial Account Manager to drive sales growth across OEM, MRO, and other industrial accounts, primarily via outreach and calls. You will promote Sunrise Electric's solutions and partner with customers to grow business.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; post-secondary education preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of B2B sales, preferably in the electrical industry.
• Strong understanding of Electric products and SunriseElectric services and solutions.
• Good understanding of the market and competitors and basic financial skills.
• Must have effective communication and negotiating skills.
• Strong selling, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Industrial Account Manager - Sunrise Electric

Location: Addison, IL

Job type: Full time

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Compensation: $100,000.00 - $200,000.00

*Compensation for this position is dependent on package size assigned which may include base salary + annual bonus opportunity or full commission plan. It also includes a full benefits package offering.

What You'll Do:

As an Industrial Account Manager, your role is to develop and execute market strategies and sales growth plans for assigned and/or new OEM, MRO and other industrial accounts, primarily through telemarketing and electronic outreach. To serve as a business partner for assigned customers by promoting the value of Sunrise Electric's solutions and services, and proactively growing business.

Duties and responsibilities are:

• Proactively build and maintain relationships with various levels of customer organizations by providing value and commercial insight to customers about their business and market conditions. Prospect for new accounts as applicable. Maintain a thorough knowledge of, and actively promote, SunriseElectric's services, solutions, and product offerings - particularly our digital solutions.
• Negotiate with customers and vendors to obtain orders, meet schedules, enhance profitability, and position SunriseElectric as their indispensable supply chain partner. Negotiate, develop, and coordinate implementation of an effective pricing strategy for assigned accounts. Secure SPA commitments from vendor partners and work with pricing team to implement price rules.
• Utilize available sales resources to quote material, enter sales orders, and manage returns. Identify tasks and transactional-type business that can be delegated. Communicate individual customer needs and product preferences to Account Representatives or Customer Service Representatives to ensure consistent customer experiences.
• Collaborate with product specialists (automation, project sales, datacom, tool, digital, etc.) to ensure the customer is receiving information and services needed in a timely fashion.

What You'll Bring

• High School Diploma required; post-secondary education preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of business-to-business sales preferably in the electrical industry or equivalent experience.
