As the Account Management Lead, Real World Evidence (RWE) you will be responsible for contributing to sales of RWE and Safety & Surveillance studies among life science companies, academia and government organizations. Your duties will include:

• Identification of Life Science companies (such as pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies), academia and government organizations who are likely to procure Safety & Surveillance studies as well as identification of individuals likely to be decision makers, influencers and budget holders to support the purchasing process.
• Establishment of relationships with prospect customers and advancement of partnerships with current customers with focus on increasing company revenue and contributing to business growth at a rate set by the organization and laid out on an annual basis.
• Coordination with internal stakeholders spanning teams including Safety Surveillance & Collaboration research (SS&C), Clinical, Scientific, Product, Operations, Legal, and other line functions to ensure a unified sales strategy and high-quality experience for prospective customers across Life Sciences, academia and government sectors.
• Collaboration with the CVS Health RWE Sales Operations team to understand and remain accountable to company business development processes and best practices.
• Upkeep of the company CRM (Salesforce) with real-time/up to date statuses and next steps for each pending project with anticipated award date.
• Cultivation of new customer relationships and preserve expansion of the existing customer base.
• Development of a robust sales strategy and a market portfolio that takes into consideration various sectors within the industry such as Life Sciences, academia, government, and how the organizations work together to improve public health.

The ideal candidate understands the fundamentals of Real-World Data (RWD)/Real World Evidence (RWE) research, such as the value of claims data and electronic medical records, pharmacovigilance, pharmaceutical life cycle, FDA regulation, Post-Approval Safety Surveillance (PASS), and government contract and grant processes.

To be a candidate for this role you will have knowledge in the following areas:

• The pharmaceutical and biotech environment and purchasing processes
• The pharmaceutical and biotech R&D lifecycle
• RWD, RWE and Safety Surveillance
• Virtual and decentralized interventional and/or observational studies

This candidate can live anywhere in the Country (Eastern Time Zone preferred), but 25-40% overnight travel will be required.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience in RWE, Safety Surveillance with pharmaceutical companies, government organizations, or academia
• Experience with digital therapeutics, health technology and related research
• Previous work in or with Life Science companies

Preferred Qualifications

• Established relationships with Safety teams or other divisions within Lifesciences organizations responsible for overseeing Safety and Surveillance work
• Experience with selling PASS and Safety and Surveillance studies
• Experience working within a PBM and/or Payer environment
• Ability to comprehend data governance processes and requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Equivalent experience may be considered

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is: $60,400.00 - $126,600.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
