As the Account Management Lead of Real-World Evidence (RWE), you will be responsible for contributing to sales of RWE and Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) among Life Science companies. Your duties will include:

  • Identification of Life Science companies, such as pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, who are likely to procure RWE/HEOR solutions and services as well as the identification of individuals likely to be decision makers, influencers and budget holders to support the purchasing process.
  • Establishment of relationships with prospect customers and advancement of partnerships with current customers with focus on increasing company revenue and contributing to business growth at a rate set by the organization and laid out on an annual basis.
  • Development of robust sales pipeline to include opportunities with net new prospect customers and repeat-business opportunities with existing customer base.
  • Collaboration with the CVS Health RWE Sales Operations team to understand and remain accountable to company business development processes and best practices.
  • Upkeep of the company CRM (Salesforce) with real-time/up to date statuses and next steps for each pending project with anticipated award date.
  • Collaboration and coordination with a matrix of internal and external technical and clinical stakeholders to garner approvals during the pre-sales process as well as ongoing communication with Clinical, Scientific, Product, Operations, Legal, and other line functions to ensure a unified sales strategy and high-quality experience for prospective customers across Life Sciences sector.

To be a candidate for this role you will have knowledge in the following areas:

  • The pharmaceutical and biotech environment and purchasing processes
  • The pharmaceutical and biotech R&D lifecycle
  • RWE, HEOR
  • Virtual and decentralized interventional and/or observational studies
  • PROs and Patient Registries

This candidate can live anywhere in the Country (Eastern Time Zone preferred), but 25-40% overnight travel will be required.

Required Qualifications

  • Previous experience in RWE, HEOR, Phase 4 with a pharma company or CRO
  • Experience with digital therapeutics, health technology and related research
  • Previous work in or with Life Science companies, CRO

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of major players in Real-World Data (RWD) and RWE space
  • Experience with selling protocol-driven studies
  • Experience working within a PBM and/or Payer environment
  • Ability to comprehend data governance processes and requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Equivalent experience may be considered

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is: $60,400.00 - $126,600.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
