Role Overview

We are seeking an Account Leader / Project Manager to support growth in water, wastewater, and stormwater projects. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, this client-facing role involves managing projects and developing business in Georgia and nearby markets. The role requires collaboration with various teams to win projects, deliver quality services, and foster client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong client relationships, becoming a trusted advisor.
• Understand client processes and culture to create value-added solutions.
• Lead pursuit strategies, develop client engagement plans, and participate in project proposals and interviews.
• Oversee project planning, design, and construction administration to ensure quality and schedule adherence.
• Serve as a senior technical resource on municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater projects.
• Support the development of junior and mid-level staff.
• Develop project scopes and proposals, and manage financial performance including growth metrics.
• Travel as needed for site visits, meetings, and events.

Qualifications & Experience

Required

• Minimum 10 years of client/project management experience in water/wastewater/stormwater sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, water resources, or related field; Georgia P.E. license or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Desired Skills

Strong technical engineering skills, experience with municipal water/wastewater/stormwater projects, regulatory compliance, and capital planning. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential, along with the ability to build and maintain client relationships, particularly with local municipalities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in relevant fields.
• Five years of relevant sales and account management experience.
• Experience with green infrastructure, stormwater BMPs, hydrology, hydraulics, MS4 compliance, and water quality studies.
• GSWCC Level II Design Professional certification or ability to obtain it.
• Existing relationships with municipal clients in the region are a plus.
