Account Install Specialist - Remote

Job Description

The Account Install Specialist is responsible for interpreting and entering correct benefit plan designs into the claims processing system (AS400) as submitted to Prime with collaboration between the Account Install Analyst, Pharmacist, and Quality Audit roles. This position also conducts initial system testing and resolves issues to ensure accuracy of claims processing.

Responsibilities
  • Receive incoming client benefit plan designs and appropriately code and document benefits for new or renewing business
  • Provide benefit plan submission support to clients and respond and resolve client submission questions or issues in a timely manner
  • Perform condensed system testing to verify benefits are entered correctly and forward benefit plan submissions to Quality Audit staff for full plan testing and certification
  • May provide coaching to new Account Install Specialists and conduct first reviews of plan build; May participate in cross-functional projects to ensure identification and adoption of operational best practices, project collaboration, and issue resolution
  • Strive to promote continuous process improvement; Resolve set-up issues and/or escalate system defects for Commercial and Health Insurance Marketplace with sense of urgency to avoid member disruption
  • Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
  • HS diploma or GED required
  • May have no prior experience

Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship

Additional Qualifications
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with high level of attention to detail
  • Organizational skills with ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and under strict timelines
  • Ability to implement process improvement plans with strong commitment toward continuous process improvement and customer service
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Proven technical knowledge and ability
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree in Business, health care or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience in health care, health care operations, data entry, claims processing, or related work
  • 1 year of work experience in pharmacy benefit design, claims processing, or related role in Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM)
