Job description

Auctane is seeking an Account Executive to work directly with large shipping clients. The role is responsible for revenue growth within a defined territory and maintaining external relationships with personnel from the United States Postal Service and other channel partners.

The position is remote and requires being physically located in either Minneapolis or St. Paul, MN. Travel to client locations is required 3 days a week.

The compensation package includes a $90k base salary + $50k variable, with a total OTE of $140,000. Additional perks include a fully paid annual international President's Club Trip and an exciting annual Global Revenue Kick Off Week at HQ in Austin, TX.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Increase customer base in assigned territory through outbound prospecting and developing lead sources and channel partnerships.
  • Grow an assigned book of business by annually increasing portfolio revenue through new logo acquisition.
  • Limit managed account churn by developing multi-layered solutions within accounts and leveraging field presence to add value on-site.
  • Build strong internal and external customer relationships by developing a network of champions at prospects and customers.
  • Be an industry expert and advocate by being a product expert and communicating the value of new products/features to assigned accounts.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years field sales experience required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years relationship management experience.
  • Proven experience managing a minimum of 50 prospective customers at any given time.
  • Proven negotiation and closing skills.
  • Strong communication skills with stakeholders (decision makers, C-levels, etc.).
