Job description

Must be located in the DC Metro Area

Summary:

As an Account Executive, you are employed in a position of trust and responsibility. Four Points expects that account executives will generate at least $800,000 of gross margin in your first year of employment. Thereafter, you will be assigned a sales quota at the beginning of each year.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Proactively promote Four Points Technology's products and services within your assigned government accounts
  • Identify new vendors relevant to your assigned accounts and bring them into the Four Points portfolio
  • Focus on developing and closing large, complex multi-year programs and projects
  • Conduct your sales activities in full compliance with all procurement rules and regulations
  • Participate in annual ethics and security training provided by Four Points
  • Review and participate in any US government and regulatory security trainings periodically as required

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Directing the activities of an inside support person
  • Exceeding assigned sales quota
  • Exceeding company sales activity metrics concerning outbound calls, sales calls with customers, joint customer/SE and OEM sales calls, maintaining CRM profiles, developing account strategies, and maintaining an updated sales pipeline
  • Staying up to date on emerging technologies and obtaining technical sales certifications as required

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Seven years of Account Executive experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to be flexible, multitask, and remain in control during stressful situations
  • Previous government contracting/IT sales experience preferred

Education/Experience:

  • BS/BA Degree in business or related field with 5 years of experience
  • Experience working with assigned account sets
  • Associate's Degree in related field with 6+ years of experience and/or training
  • 7+ years of experience and/or training
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience

Work Environment:

The work environment is typically moderate noise. The position requires remote work and travel up to approximately 70% of the time to customer sites and meetings. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
