The Role We Need
PadSplit is hiring an Account Executive to expand our marketplace by engaging traditional property owners to become PadSplit Hosts. This role is vital in helping homeowners unlock additional income by listing their properties, while addressing housing affordability through more shared housing opportunities in Tampa, FL.
The Person We're Looking For
We seek a driven, personable Account Executive with sales or real estate experience who excels at building relationships with property owners and investors. The role involves delivering tailored value pitches on how PadSplit's model and technology generate superior rental income compared to traditional rentals. The ideal candidate thrives remotely, has strong communication skills, and wants to impact the affordable housing crisis—one room at a time.
Daily Responsibilities
- Prospect and qualify leads of potential property owners interested in becoming PadSplit Hosts.
- Conduct outreach via cold calls, emails, and networking.
- Engage property owners in discovery calls to understand their needs and barriers.
- Articulate benefits of PadSplit, including increased revenue, management simplicity, and societal impact.
- Build trust-based relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Customize hosting solutions, including financial modeling and compliance.
- Guide owners through decision-making, negotiate, and finalize onboarding agreements.
- Coordinate with onboarding teams for smooth transitions.
- Maintain records in CRM, tracking outreach and KPIs.
- Monitor market trends to refine strategies.
- Organize educational sessions for property owners.
Success Factors
- Proven sales success in B2B or B2C, especially in real estate or property management.
- Strong relationship-building skills.

- Knowledge of real estate markets is desirable.
- Proficient with CRM tools (Salesforce, Hubspot).

Interview Process
- Application review by Hiring Manager.
- Phone interview (~30 mins) with PeopleOps.
- Video interview (~45 mins) with Sales Manager.
- Panel presentation (~1.5 hours) with stakeholders.
- Final interview (~30 mins) with Head of Sales.
- Offer extension if successful.
