Position Overview

This role involves selling Ultrasound imaging systems, options, and service contracts to prospective and existing customers within an assigned territory.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop territory calling strategies with Regional Managers to maximize coverage and sales.
  • Prospect new hospital and outpatient clients to sell equipment and service contracts.
  • Maintain strong relationships with current customers to ensure satisfaction and cross-sell products.
  • Collaborate with Hospital Relations Managers to develop hospital chain strategies.
  • Coordinate with Sales Admin for quotes; work with Product Managers for demos and presentations.
  • Contribute to marketing plans and market assessments.
  • Continuously update product knowledge and market insights.
  • Provide timely feedback on competitors and market trends.
  • Accurately report account activities via CRM.
  • Assist in account receivables, contract renewals, and resolving product issues.
  • Attend industry trade shows and stay current on industry trends.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA, ISO 13485, and other regulations.
  • Complete vendor credentialing processes.
Qualifications

Experience: 4+ years in hospital sales, preferably with diagnostic imaging equipment.

Education: BA/BS required.

Skills & Requirements
  • Strong sales skills, excellent presentation and objection handling abilities.
  • Effective communication at all levels, including C-Level executives.
  • Ability to build long-term relationships and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Multitasking and organizational skills; team-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; willingness to travel extensively within territory.
  • Own a late-model vehicle; valid driver’s license required.
Physical & Travel Requirements
  • Office and clinical environment conditions.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and push ultrasound systems weighing up to 350 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting, talking, hearing; manual dexterity for device operation.
  • Travel up to 75% within assigned territory.
