Job Description

Duties and responsibilities

  • Develop calling strategies with Regional Managers to maximize territory coverage and sales.
  • Prospect new customers and build relationships in hospital and outpatient markets to sell equipment and service contracts.
  • Maintain relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and cross-sell products.
  • Collaborate with Hospital Relations Manager, National and Government Accounts to develop hospital relationships and strategies.
  • Coordinate with Sales Administration for quotes on new equipment and options.
  • Partner with Product Managers for product demonstrations and clinical presentations.
  • Work with Ultrasound Marketing to develop business plans and market assessments.
  • Continuously update product knowledge and technical skills.
  • Provide timely feedback on competitors and market trends.
  • Report all account activities accurately in the CRM system.
  • Assist with accounts receivable, contract renewals, and resolving product issues.
  • Stay current on industry trends and attend trade shows like RSNA.
  • Comply with FDA, ISO 13485, and other relevant standards and regulations.
  • Complete vendor credentialing requirements for hospital access.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4+ years sales experience in hospital market, preferably in diagnostic imaging or related surgical devices.

Educational Requirements

  • BA/BS degree required.

Skills and Other Requirements

  • Strong sales, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to learn products quickly and overcome objections.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and organize work efficiently.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
  • Access to a late-model vehicle and valid driver's license.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 35 pounds, pushing/pulling ultrasound systems, and operating in clinical environments.

Travel

  • Up to 75% travel may be required based on business needs.
