Job Description

Duties and responsibilities

  1. Develop calling strategies with Regional Managers to maximize territory coverage and sales.
  2. Prospect new customers in hospital and outpatient markets to sell equipment and service contracts.
  3. Maintain relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and cross-sell products.
  4. Collaborate with Hospital Relations Manager, National and Government Accounts to develop hospital relationships and strategies.
  5. Coordinate with Sales Administration to generate quotes for equipment and options.
  6. Conduct product demonstrations and clinical presentations.
  7. Work with Ultrasound Marketing on business plans and market assessments.
  8. Continuously develop product knowledge and technical skills.
  9. Provide timely feedback on competitors and market trends.
  10. Report all account contacts and prospects accurately in CRM.
  11. Assist with accounts receivable, contract renewals, and resolving product issues.
  12. Stay updated on industry trends.
  13. Attend trade shows like RSNA to develop leads.
  14. Comply with FDA, ISO 13485, and other regulations.
  15. Complete vendor credentialing requirements.

Qualifications

Experience

  • 4+ years in hospital sales, preferably diagnostic imaging equipment or related devices.

Educational Requirements

  • BA/BS required.

Skills and Other Requirements

  • Strong sales skills, product knowledge, and ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Ability to develop long-term relationships and handle multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
  • Access to a late-model vehicle and a valid driver’s license.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to perform tasks like lifting up to 35 lbs, pushing ultrasound systems, and driving.

Travel

  • Up to 75% travel may be required.
