Job summary

Sauce is hiring an Account Executive, Strategic Accounts / Regional Chains to land multi-unit restaurant groups across NYC, the Northeast and Greater Miami. You will own the full cycle from opening doors with owners to closing complex, multi-location deals and ensuring each location signs and launches successfully.

You’ll leverage existing operator relationships and travel up to 30% for in-person meetings, with no zip-code territory—your market is wherever the best restaurants are.

About Sauce

Sauce is helping independent restaurants win by giving them more control over delivery, customer relationships, and profitability. We help restaurants reduce third-party marketplace costs, increase direct orders, and grow revenue through technology.

The Role

We're hiring an Account Executive, Strategic Accounts / Regional Chains to bring Sauce to multi-unit restaurant groups and the best-known, highest-volume restaurant brands in New York City, the Northeast and Greater Miami. You will own the full cycle: opening doors with owners and executives, running complex multi-stakeholder deals, and making sure every location you sign goes live and performs.

This role is for someone who already knows the operators. You will leverage existing relationships from day one, sign new groups fast, and build Sauce's strategic accounts motion alongside our Head of Sales. There is no zip-code territory and no door-to-door: your market is wherever the best restaurants are.

What You’ll Own

• Build and close a pipeline of multi-unit restaurant groups and top local brands across NYC, the Northeast or Greater Miami
• Sell directly to Owners, CEOs, CFOs, VPs of Operations and Heads of Digital or Off-Premise
• Leverage established operator relationships for immediate pipeline and signed deals
• Navigate long, complex sales cycles: pilots, multi-location rollouts, procurement and multiple decision-makers
• Negotiate commercial terms that work for the group and for Sauce, and solve creatively when deals stall
• Plan and oversee a coordinated transition from sales to onboarding so every location launches on time and hits performance targets
• Expand accounts after launch: additional locations, and Sauce Direct into BYOC groups
• Attend industry trade shows and events, and stay current on restaurant and restaurant-tech trends
• Feed market and customer insight back to product, onboarding

What You Bring

• 5+ years closing new business in restaurant technology, delivery or hospitality, including multi-unit groups (10+ locations a strong plus)
• You closed at least 100 deals of 5+ locations yourself over the years
• Established relationships with multi-unit owners and executives in NYC or South Florida that you can leverage immediately
• A track record of selling to Owners, CEOs and C-suite decision-makers
• Experience navigating complex 1–6 month sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
• Keen negotiation skills and creative problem-solving that move long deals forward without giving away margin
• A proven record planning and overseeing a multi-location sales-to-onboarding transition that led to a successful rollout
• Fluency in third-party delivery and online ordering economics
• Active in the industry: you attend trade shows and follow restaurant and restaurant-tech trends
• Present in the market: in office / on -the-field (hybrid), with travel up to 30% across the Northeast and Greater Miami
• Prior experience at a delivery marketplace (Uber Eats, DoorDash, Grubhub) or restaurant POS / tech company (Toast, Square, CloverOpenTable or similar)
