Account Executive Overview

Deepwatch is on a mission to redefine enterprise security through our cutting‑edge Managed Security Services solutions, including MDR, Managed EDR, Vulnerability Management, and Managed Firewall.

We’re seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Account Executive to spearhead new logo acquisition and accelerate our growth within an assigned territory.

As an Account Executive, you will be at the forefront of Deepwatch’s market expansion, engaging directly with security leaders to solve their toughest challenges with our innovative solutions. Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Enterprise Growth: Own and exceed new logo sales targets, positioning Deepwatch as a leader in the Managed Security Services market.
  • Lead the Full Sales Cycle: From prospecting to closing, expertly navigate the sales process to deliver results.
  • Collaborate for Success: Partner with industry‑leading Solutions Directors, Principal Consultants, and internal teams to create compelling value propositions.
  • Work closely with your assigned BDR to design and execute targeted account campaigns.
  • Leverage our Channel Sales team and Partner ecosystem to unlock opportunities.
  • Shape the Future: Stay ahead of industry trends, learn new technologies, and contribute insights to enhance Deepwatch’s product strategy and roadmap.
  • Deliver Impactful Messaging: Articulate and position Deepwatch’s transformational cybersecurity solutions to Security Leadership (CISOs, VPs, Senior Directors, and other key decision‑makers), prospects, and customers.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrate prior experience achieving quotas at early‑stage, high‑growth software/SaaS or Cybersecurity companies.
  • Learn new technologies while contributing to the company strategy and product roadmap to solve business problems.
  • Use a proven sales methodology such as MEDPICC, and approach prospective customers focusing on selling business value, solving business problems, and delivering customer outcomes.
  • Engage internal and external resources at appropriate times during sales cycles.
  • Relentlessly build a 5x pipeline (>$1M per month after 90‑days) without expecting leads from marketing or channel partners.
  • Develop targeted, strategic account plans and ensure they are understood by the extended team.
  • Prioritize your work and provide accurate forecasts in Salesforce CRM.
  • Remain current with information security news, techniques, and trends.
  • Travel within your assigned region/territory to visit prospective customers and partners (often with short notice).
  • Operationalize a diverse book of business vs focusing exclusively on prior/existing relationships.
First 90 Days
  • 30‑Days: Meet with all internal selling resources, CAM, SA, BDR, as well as regional channel partners; define a target account list.
  • 60‑Days: Build a target account strategy; make prospecting calls to all target accounts.
  • 90‑Days: Demonstrate you are on a path to building a 5X pipeline.
Statutory Pay Disclosure

The anticipated salary range for this role is $130,000 – $150,000. OTE of $250k‑$300k (consisting of base/commission 50/50 split) + stock options + benefits. Actual compensation may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
