Job Overview

The Account Executive, SMB Team Sales role at T-Mobile is designed for ambitious, results-driven sales professionals passionate about building customer relationships and delivering T-Mobile's products and services to underserved markets.

This is a hunter role focused on meeting and exceeding monthly sales quotas by acquiring new accounts with small and medium-sized businesses (1-299 employees). You will sell products, services, and solutions through prospecting, cold-calling, networking, and generating leads and referrals. You will analyze customer needs and apply solution-based selling techniques to demonstrate value, tailoring recommendations to negotiate and close deals.

Note

Though listed as VA-remote, candidates must reside within the Stafford/Culpeper/Fredericksburg, VA territory as this is a field sales role.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Lead generation: Generate and work leads through prospecting, cold calling, and networking under sales manager supervision.
  2. Customer needs: Demonstrate T-Mobile’s value by recommending wireless solutions, including plans, data services, handsets, and accessories.
  3. Deal negotiation: Negotiate and close deals.
  4. Skill development: Develop prospecting, call execution, and relationship management skills through training and meetings.
  5. Sales approaches: Create effective sales strategies, solutions, and proposals.
  6. Sales automation: Use CRM tools to manage sales activities and report on progress.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
  • 1+ years of verifiable new customer acquisition sales experience (Preferred)
  • Outside B2B sales experience (Preferred)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Task Management: Ability to multi-task in a fast-changing environment (Required)
  • Customer Service: Demonstrated experience in delivering superior service (Required)
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and written skills (Required)
  • Negotiation: Effective closing skills, emotional intelligence, and problem-solving (Required)
  • Cold Calling: Ability to cold call and door knock (Preferred)
  • Prospect Management: Experience in nurturing leads from initial contact to conversion (Preferred)
  • CRM Experience: Using systems like Salesforce to manage customer relationships (Preferred)
  • Proposal Writing: Preparing and following up on proposals (Preferred)
  • At least 18 years old
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Compensation

Total Target Cash Pay Range: $71,800 - $129,400 (including incentives)

Base Pay Range: $43,080 - $77,640
