Job Overview

The Account Executive, SMB Team Sales role at T-Mobile is for ambitious, results-driven sales professionals passionate about building customer relationships and bringing T-Mobile's products to underserved markets. This is a hunter role focused on acquiring new SMB accounts (1-299 employees) and developing your career toward a senior Account Executive position.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead Generation: Prospect and generate leads through cold calling, networking, and territory development.
  2. Customer Needs: Demonstrate T-Mobile’s value by recommending suitable wireless solutions.
  3. Deal Negotiation: Negotiate and close sales deals.
  4. Skill Development: Enhance prospecting, relationship management, and product knowledge skills.
  5. Sales Approaches: Create effective proposals and sales strategies.
  6. Sales Automation: Use CRM tools to manage sales activities and forecast.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s preferred.
  • At least 1 year of verifiable new customer sales experience, preferably in a commissioned environment.
  • Experience in outside B2B sales is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment (Required).
  • Superior customer service and attention to detail (Required).
  • Excellent communication skills (Required).
  • Negotiation and closing skills (Required).
  • Experience with cold calling, prospect management, CRM systems, and proposal writing is preferred.
Additional Details

Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S. This role requires travel. The pay range is $71,800 - $129,400 total target cash, with specifics depending on location and experience. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k), stock options, paid time off, parental leave, tuition assistance, and discounts.
