Account Executive, SMB Team Sales - Billings MT

Job Overview

The Account Executive, SMB Team Sales role at T-Mobile is designed for ambitious, results-driven sales professionals who are passionate about building customer relationships and bringing T-Mobile's products and services to underserved markets.

This is a hunter role involving meeting and exceeding sales quotas by acquiring new accounts with small and medium-sized businesses (1-299 employees). You will sell products, services, and solutions through prospecting, cold-calling, networking, and lead generation. You will analyze customer needs and use solution-based selling techniques to demonstrate T-Mobile's value, tailoring recommendations to close business.

Responsibilities
  • Generate leads through prospecting, cold calling, and networking within assigned territories.
  • Sell T-Mobile solutions by demonstrating value and recommending suitable products and services.
  • Negotiate and close deals effectively.
  • Develop skills in prospecting, call execution, and relationship management.
  • Create sales approaches, proposals, and solutions.
  • Utilize sales automation tools, manage sales funnel, and report on activities and forecasts.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 1+ years of verifiable new customer sales experience, preferably in a commissioned environment.
  • Outside B2B sales experience preferred.
Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment (Required).
  • Excellent customer service and attention to detail (Required).
  • Strong communication skills (Required).
  • Negotiation and closing skills (Required).
  • Cold calling and prospect management experience (Preferred).
  • CRM experience, e.g., Salesforce (Preferred).

  • Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the US.
Additional Details

This is a field sales role requiring residence within the Billings, MT area. Travel is required. Compensation ranges from $71,800 to $129,400 including incentives, with specific pay based on experience and location.
