INNOCEAN USA in Huntington Beach seeks a freelance Account Executive to join the Hyundai Retail team for a short-term booking from September 14, 2026 to November 20, 2026. This hybrid role requires local availability in Southern California and strong collaboration with internal and client teams.

You will manage projects end-to-end, ensure work stays on strategy, on time and within budget, and support meetings, schedules, asset coordination, and delivery of client materials.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a full-service ad agency.
• Knowledge of automotive regional and/or dealership operations is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Strong time management, organizational and project management skills.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop and adhere to client project schedules and milestones.
• Support Director and Supervisor with day-to-day client engagements.
• Coordinate feedback, and manage file organization and asset delivery.
• Schedule internal and client meetings, prepare briefs and reviews.

INNOCEAN USA, a full-service advertising agency, located in Huntington Beach is seeking an freelance Account Executive to join our Hyundai Retail team!This is a short-term booking: 9/14/26 - 11/20/26.We are a hybrid workplace, currently x3 days week in-office. Candidates must be local to SoCal.The Account Executive position requires the ability to effectively manage projects from start to finish, while demonstrating the ability to organize workload and workflow through coordination of agency activities and client contact.The Account Executive is responsible for the day-to-day execution of programs and/or projects associated with the Hyundai accounts, and ensuring that work is on strategy, on time and within budget.Primary Focus: Executional and internal coordination supportDUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Develops and adheres to client project or deliverable-specific schedules (including building and maintaining Smartsheet schedules)Create project Assignment SummariesSupport Director and Supervisor with day-to-day client presentation and engagement responsibilitiesManage and route internal and external feedback (copy decks, legal, CSP, etc.)Package and share creative working filesSchedule and support dialogue for internal meetings, including status meetings, briefings, creative check-ins and reviews, and other process-mandated milestonesResponsible for coordination and delivery of project-specific documentation including competitive boards, imagery requests, delivery file name confirmation, etc.Support client meetings and engagement, as needed, including meeting scheduling, note-taking, etc.Oversee project-wide file organizationManages process, routing and delivery for tasks including asset management/metadataSupport a variety of project-based requests including opening job numbers, etc.QA and track project assetsKeeps work moving through the system cleanly and predictably (specific assets)REQUIREMENTS:2+ years in a full-service ad agencyKnowledge of automotive regional and/or dealership operations is a plus.Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.Strong time management, organizational and project management skills, as well as the ability to balance multiple assignments and set priorities.Must be computer proficient with working knowledge of the MS Office Suite.The salary range for this role is $70,304- $78,000.
