Job Title: Account Executive - Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion, and Fire Alarm Sales Representative

Location: DC, MD, VA regions

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced, career-oriented individual with exceptional leadership skills to join our team as a Low Voltage Systems Sales Representative.

Core Accountabilities:

  • Sell commercial, integrated low voltage systems solutions, including communication infrastructure (voice, video, and data), fire, sound, security, access control, and CCTV.
  • Work closely with customers to provide the best possible solutions for their immediate and future needs.
  • Maintain high standards of performance and conduct at all times.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Prior experience in selling low voltage commercial systems.
  • Maintain and archive proposals and bids for future actions.
  • Attend site surveys to determine requirements for selling and installing jobs.
  • Assist customers with technical and installation issues.
  • Maintain solid working relationships with established accounts.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within low voltage product lines and construction.
  • Strong technical background through electronics and communication training is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office is essential.
  • Knowledge of installation practices and construction procedures is a plus.
  • Knowledge of state, local, and industry standards involving low voltage wiring, fire alarm sprinkler, and device installation.
  • Valid driver’s license and transportation required.
  • Ability to obtain Maryland Security Systems Sales and VA DCJS licenses.
  • Mobility required for site surveys and job site inspections.
  • Positive and respectful attitude to maintain good working relationships with management, staff, employees, vendors, and customers.
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and the ability to prioritize workload.

Education and Experience:

  • Experience in sound, low voltage wiring, fire-alarm, life safety, construction, or electrical background is a plus.
  • Strong outside sales background is essential.
