We're seeking innovative approaches to serve our customers. This role involves partnering directly with School Administrators, Educators, Technology Directors, Department Chairs, and AP Directors, focusing on Solution-Based Selling and partnership development.

How will you make an impact?

As an Account Executive/Sales Representative (NYC/Bronx), you will sell Core, Intervention, and Personalized Solutions to our Grades K-12 customer base, emphasizing new business development. This role requires travel within the territory, with some overnight commitments. The ideal candidate resides in New York City.

This role requires 75-80% travel. Candidates must live in New York City or the Bronx and be authorized to work in the United States.

What you'll be doing:
  1. Attaining and surpassing sales goals, developing and maintaining customer relationships to expand market penetration.
  2. Creating and executing marketing and strategic territory plans with strong organization and follow-through.
  3. Conducting effective sales presentations.
  4. Communicating effectively both verbally and in writing to facilitate desired outcomes.
  5. Managing company resources, including vehicle, credit card, home office, and equipment.
  6. Making data-driven decisions based on analysis and competitive intelligence.
A successful candidate will have:
  1. Bachelor's degree required.
  2. 1-3 years of sales experience in K-12 educational publishing or EdTech services preferred.
  3. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Product Development, Marketing, and Software Development.
  4. Deep understanding of technology use in educational environments, including platforms and curricula.
  5. Strong organizational skills, territory management, and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced setting.
  6. Experience selling digital or SaaS products preferred.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint (basic), Word, and Excel (intermediate).
  8. Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce preferred.
