Account Executive - SaaS - $200-240k OTE - Remote West Coast US

Meritt is working with a transformative manufacturing tech startup looking for a hungry Account Executive to join them. They are transforming the way manufacturing companies manage their operations. By streamlining complex manufacturing processes, they help Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) brands improve sales, optimize yields, and reduce costs.

A Day in the Life

As an account executive, a typical day includes the following:

  • Drive revenue, owning the entire sales cycle through close.
  • Develop strategies for closing opportunities within your assigned accounts.
  • Leverage proven sales methodology to uncover customer needs and pain points.
  • Articulate the value proposition by using the appropriate sales qualification.
  • Own sales activity and monthly revenue forecasting in Hubspot.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, design, and engineering to provide customer feedback.
  • Conduct highly personalized demos tailored to their specific pain points and needs.
  • Handle and overcome any and all objections by identifying the root cause and proposing solutions.
  • Be able to close, negotiate and close deals consistently.
  • Providing an exceptional and customer-centric experience that allows you to control the buying journey from beginning to end.
  • B2B manufacturing, supply chain, operations, and accounting SaaS experience is not necessary but is a bonus.
  • Most importantly, bring your energy and have fun.

You bring the following experience and expertise:
  • At least 2-3 years of account executive sales experience in SaaS, manufacturing software, or a related field of business.
  • Experience managing accounts and presenting to C-level or other key decision-maker relationships. (We will train you)
  • A growth mindset and complete dedication to mastering the art of selling.
  • There will be heavy travel, multiple times per month for visits, demos, conferences, etc.
  • Based on the West Coast of the US.
  • Grit and the willingness to do whatever it takes to succeed.
  • Being coachable, taking extreme ownership, and trusting the process.
  • Track record or relevant experience in meeting and exceeding sales goals.
  • You are a PHD → Positive, Hungry and Determined!
  • Excellent quantitative, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in CRM and Google Docs (We will train you).
