Summary
The Account Executive – RFS will have responsibility for existing account management activities and new account sales. The AE will identify and develop new customer business for Ryder Fuel Services (RFS) in collaboration with RFS management. The AE will facilitate research and prospecting of new customers, develop an industry network, and educate/develop prospects' perception of RFS services. The AE will support existing customer service and marketing efforts and understand competitive influences and risks.
Essential Functions
- Sales Activity – Represent spectrum of RFS services. Collaborate with RFS management, accounting, and operations to facilitate contracts and close deals supporting RFS growth and revenue targets. Interface with internal Ryder Sales Teams to identify synergies to expand current customer services.
- Customer Experience – Work with RFS team to increase existing customer supplemental sales opportunities. Create supportive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Leverage all resources to expand new opportunities, e.g., Fuel Services, Building Maintenance, Finance. Support existing customer relationships, reporting, and feedback management based on RFS Ops customer teams’ needs. Ensure onboarding of new accounts and completion of customer orientation.
- Business Development – In collaboration with RFS management, identify prospects and their needs. Develop understanding of customer requirements and value components through proposal preparation. Develop sales plans to meet/exceed revenue targets. Respond proactively to leads and inquiries. Maintain prospecting message alignment with RFS operations.
- Administrative Support – Maintain account profiles for prospects. Facilitate marketing efforts and educational opportunities to support RFS presence. Familiarize RFS Team with ongoing sales and their potential operational impact. Perform necessary administrative functions for account development.
- Continuous Improvement – Evaluate sales skills/approach effectiveness, enhance industry knowledge, and identify growth needs.
Additional Responsibilities
- Understand how RFS solutions can be customized to meet customer needs.
- Adhere to Ryder’s policies and procedures, including Travel and Expense Policy.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
- 3+ years in downstream fueling or facilities operations, support, maintenance, and compliance (Required)
- 2+ years in sales or related customer experience roles (Preferred)
- Understanding of RFS products and financial drivers. Ability to represent RFS services to new and potential customers (Required)

Hourly, Range: $31.30 - $39.47. Compensation may include bonuses, commissions, or incentives based on experience and performance.
