DocStation is seeking a remote, full-cycle Account Executive to drive pharmacy growth in a high-volume SMB role. You’ll own the entire funnel—managing inbound leads and channel referrals while proactively self-sourcing outbound pipeline in a fast-paced environment.
Full-time · Remote (US) · Reports to Head of Growth
DocStation is the operating system for retail healthcare. All 50 states now grant pharmacists some form of prescribing authority, and pharmacies are transforming from prescription dispensing into billable clinical care delivery. What’s been missing is the infrastructure to bill the medical benefit, and that’s what we build. Our platform gives independent and community pharmacies medical billing, patient management, scheduling, and revenue analytics in one place, so they capture revenue from the clinical services they already provide.
Hundreds of pharmacies run on DocStation today, and demand keeps growing through partner referrals and word of mouth with zero marketing spend. We need a dedicated closer to match it.
This is a full-cycle SMB role, and you are the whole funnel. You will ultimately own 100% of inbound SMB opportunity, both channel partner referrals and organic website intake, from first response through signed agreement. You can also self-source. At our current inbound volume, warm flow alone will not get you to quota, and we would rather you read that here than discover it in month four. Expect a meaningful share of your pipeline to be outbound you build yourself across independent, community, retail, and regional grocery pharmacies.
The pace is transactional. Most of our customers are one- and two-location pharmacies, so hitting quota takes a steady stream of signed agreements every month. If you’re energized by volume, short cycles, and a scoreboard that resets constantly, you’ll like this seat. If you want to run four enterprise deals a year, you won’t.
Closing isn’t the end of the earning. Customer Success owns the relationship after signature, but when you drive growth at an account you closed (a tier upgrade, added locations, a new service line), you’re credited and paid on it the same as new business. Our customers add locations and expand what they bill for, and we want that upside in your comp rather than left on the table.
The job is speed and craft. Fast response to every lead, sharp discovery, demos tailored to each pharmacy’s clinical and financial goals, and a clean, accurately forecasted pipeline in HubSpot. Because we sell into healthcare, you’ll get fluent quickly in the clinical and billing context that makes DocStation valuable.
You start owning inbound SMB end to end, inbound and self-sourced. Consistent quota performance opens outbound multi-location territory. Enterprise and chain deals are owned by our enterprise sales lead today, and that’s a book you can grow into as you prove out. If you’ve already sold into independent and chain pharmacies, the track moves faster. We set scope and level by what you’ve proven.
The market moves at two speeds. Independent pharmacies decide quickly, and deals can sign the same month you first call. Chains and multi-location groups take longer and buy more. You’ll work both ends of that spectrum as you grow. If you want to be the seller a company is built around, this is that seat.
Base salary of $85,000 to $100,000, set by experience, plus a variable target of $45,500 at 100% of quota, for on-target earnings of $130,500 to $145,500. Commission is uncapped and accelerates steeply, so top performers earn well past their OTE. Meaningful early-stage equity is part of the package.
The plan is simple by design: one quota and one commission rate across every product, with a source multiplier that adjusts quota credit based on where a deal comes from. Year one includes a ramped quota. Accounts hand to Customer Success at signature, and this role does not carry a renewal quota. We’ll walk through the full plan during interviews.
